So your task is to determine a date, or at least a date range. Are you up for the challenge? I couldn't believe it when I found this in my change. Any thoughts as to what happened to her? Good Luck!

The date range is 1982-2008 I think. Is that Zinc underneath?

I am trying to imagine that the first number of the date is a 2!

the only thing I can make out near the date is that it appears as though Lincoln is giving us the finger...

PO-01 details. If you sand the surface down smooth acid etching might recover the date

And Lincoln continues to take a beating. Couldn't we have done better than a cent for him.

Actually this is the new Cent being sent out by the Mint. It was made this way so dates and Mint marks are not required. Also, coins like this will stay in circulation since no one will collect them.
