Both look like large date to me.

Yes I see now as the small date has an extra tuck in the 9

And "LIBERTY" is very mushy [poorly struck]on a small date.

I always look at the zero, if the top is higher than the 7, then it is a large date variety. When I question it, I always use this as a reference.
