I was recently told by a dealer that they don't make dime sized 1.5 x 1.5 flips, they just use the cent sized for dimes.

Is this true? The small space the dimes are making in cent holders is wreaking havoc with my OCD (both the space - AND - the possibility that the coin could rotate inside the flip, which DRIVES ME NUTS!!)

Hard to believe nobody's made 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 flips for dimes?

I have a bunch of these small flips for cents and 2x2s for dimes (ironically I just tried putting a cent in dime flip 10 minutes ago!) so I'll take a look and see what's in the box and let you know.

Somebody, somewhere has to have 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 flips for dimes.

The only 1.5 x 1.5 flips I have seen are vinyl, and may cause issues with coins and long term storage.

There are 1.5 x 1.5 cardboard holders: http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/pro...-coin-flips/

^There's a link^ to what is listed as "Cardboard Flips - 1.5x1.5 - Dime Size" so it would seem they would have a different, smaller diameter window than cent flips.

Fuzzy - "flip" is used generically to describe cardboard holders and clear plastic holders.

So... Wizard coin supply is who told me they don't make dime sized flips (cardoard). I bought a bunch, and when I received cent sized, I called to clarify. I just started using the 1.5's, so I wasn't aware of this fact. They did tell me that the 2x2's DO have a smaller cut for dimes, but the 1.5's do not.

Strange. I am certain that I have seen the 1.5" holders with dimes at the coin shows. The last few Mercury dimes I have bought were in them, or so I seem to remember. It could be that I am remembering it wrong.

Interesting. I'm going to a coin show this weekend. If I find them, I'll ask dealers where they get them from. I just looked in my Whitman catalog and none were listed.

I bought a few hundred couple years ago and they are for cents and dimes. 2x2's are coin specific.

I don't believe anybody makes the 1.5x1.5 for dimes, only cent/dime. I've never seen them.
