Do you like Whitman, HE Harris, Littleton, or Warman coin folders the best? Or another brand? Thank you.

I would only use folders for dimes nickels and quarters. Even then it's better to go to albums or just flips. The folders hide one half of the coin and offer no protection for your coins. Most of those brands have lines of albums. I like Whitman and dansco the best.

I used Whitman folders when I was a kid. I have been using Dansco albums for thirty-one years now.

A lot of people have recommended Dansco albums on & off of here, so I suppose I'll use them as well.

You won't be disappointed. Well, maybe you'll be disappointed about the price tag, but they're worth it!
I have a pile of empty Whitman folders that I need to recycle or donate. Switched to albums (both Whitman Classic and Dansco) over the past several years.

I resale the Whitman folders, so if you're going to simply donate them, I'd be happy to purchase them from you. I have a website that I created last year, where I sell my extra coins & such, so they'd be great for resaling. If you're interested, how many do you have, & what is the price?

Oh, goodness... when I said "pile" I meant like 8 or 10. Probably not even worth the shipping.
I believe you need a few more posts before you can buy/sell/trade with CCF members anyway.

Ok then. If it's not allowed, that's understandable (mostly, I'm supposing, because of eBayers who try to list their items in this category.) It isn't my website, so I'll listen to whoever's website this is's rules.

I've never heard of the 'Warman' type, so I can't reply on that. Otherwise, I use all of the other three types and really don't have a 'favorite'; I find them all being fine models. For my USA coins, my Lincoln Cent, Mercury dime, and Roosevelt dime collections are all in Littleton folders. The Buffalo nickels and Franklin halves are in old-style Whitman's. The rest of my US sets are all in Harris folders; with the exception of the DC/Territories quarter set which is in a Whitman. The Canadian side of my collection is 100% Whitman (21 folders and counting). PS: I also have several albums (all Littleton's) that house my higher quality collections, and I have secondary STATE and ATB Quarter sets in store bought folders of some various type.

I still have all of my old Whitman folders tucked away. I could not part with them given the sentimental value.

I ended up donating them to the school my wife works at. Figure I will try to create some more YNs!

I might end up giving mine to my son if he shows more interest in the hobby. They are still in pretty decent shape given their age, but I only used them for about four years before moving to albums.
