I forgot just how expensive the classic head large cents were! 1814 was the last year for the classic head and has a mintage of 357,830. I'm glad I can mark this one off the list! Fine and above they get ridiculously pricey. I like what looks to be original surfaces, full liberty, and strong date. The reverse has some distractions but overall, for the grade, a nice classic head that I would add to my collection given the chance and the right price. mycrob Pillar of the Community United States 2602 Posts	Posted 04/01/2016 3:48 pm I agree with G-4 details, a few gouges/scratches- but even if those were not present it is G4 wear, so a third party grade might knock it back to AG3 if they grade it (which they probably won't).
