Small change for small change. 1835 Capped Bust Dime. Common date, nothing to write home about but it's not too bad.

Reverse is slightly weak but I think it will pull G4, or maybe G6, on the obverse. Might be a details grade but looks like circulation wear or an old cleaning or both.

Let's see what CCF has to say.

G-4, genuine, details-reverse scratch, not gradable

G-6 (not details)

I find that pre-milled coins tend to wear more unevenly, so more freedom is given to overall appeal as opposed to the defining rims. The overall detail looks a lot like the VG-8 example on Photograde, but the reverse rim still drags it down a little bit.

It grades Good-6. The word "LIBERTY" is not a grading point on these coins, or any of the other Bust coins of this era. It was very deeply impressed in the coin, and did not wear away that quickly.

It's close to VG-8 but the reverse holds it back to G-6. It's a nice coin. What did you pay for it?
