Here's another one..looks like multiple "D"s, I see possibly three. Any opinions on this? Didn't see anything at Wexler's. Man, I wish I know how to stack images to clear this up. Some help in that area would be appreciated too.

There is a RPM on your coin. (lower split on the serif) There is also some machine damage on the mint mark. At top and right side. Note the altered area reduces the normal size of the mint mark? It looks like a minor RPM. It probably will be hard to match up, but you might have one that is listed.

Thanks Slamnbass. 5x rms objective on bellows. Hope to get better when I learn to focus stack. BTW, those are two different LWC's. As Coop said, one is an RPM. Not sure about the second pic.

The second pic looks like a possible RPM to me. The way I am looking at it the top MM is straight with bar going N-S. The second one under is rotated counterclockwise so the vertical bar is going NW-SE.

I would definitely say the second picture shows a clear RPM. To my eyes it looks like a D/D rotated clockwise (If you took the top of the D and turned it from 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock). The lower serif is clearly split and the metal on the bottom of the D is part of the RPM. What year is it from? Here is another website with more/different listings than coppercoins: http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20L...intmarks.htmI am by no means an expert, but I think it's an RPM.

Greenprint, Not an actual microscope, but a Nikon 5x objective on a bellows setup. There's a thread in the Coin Photography section at https://goccf.com/t/158182&SearchTerms=400My setup goes camera->bellows->focusing helicoid->5x objective. Very cost effective, multiuse setup to picture coins and look at variations unless you do it for a living. Then, IMHO, dedicated equipment would be better.

Andywoj00, If you have a subscription or copy of Adobe Lightroom, the stacking option, which allows a LOT of choices, is under the menu choice Photo. If you don't have Lightroom, I highly recommend it. Robert
