So my lcs buddy needed ASE's to fill an order and knew I had some. Just so happens that earlier in the day he bought a bag of $60 face in quarters and offered it for 2 tubes of my 2015's. Here's how it broke down date wise. Mostly washies with a few SLQ's, a barber and even a double sided Greaser. Good deal?...

They're asking ~13X face for the quarters based on the current market values. I wouldn't do it unless I was collecting quarters and wanted to fill holes in an album. It's your call but not a good deal IMO even though it's 43ozs for 40ozs because of ASE premiums.

I would have done in since I like silver quarters more than ASEs; you got more silver and more character out of the deal IMO.

It is a fair deal.

Throw in the fact that this is your LCS buddy and you probably have future business between you two and this is you helping him out, even better.

Well for resale value, there might be a bit more premium on the silver eagles but at the point you sell them silver would probably be way up and at that point 3 more ounces would outweigh the premium I think. Also like said above making friends with the LCS is never a bad thing

The value is very close to the same amount.

Helping out a local coin dealer is a good thing.
If it helps with future deals ...bonus
