Look at this 1995 D BIE cent. I have never seen a 1995 D BIE before this.

That's not a BIE. that a IIB. LOL The reason the BIE Cents happened on the wheat cents is because of the Wheat reverse colliding with the LIBERTY when die clashed happened. The edge of the out line of the wheat made contact with the area between the B & I. When damage happened in that area, the die seemed to crumble faster but usually stopped when it got to the B & I forming eventually a vertical line in that area. because of the similar shape of all the dies, when this happened (Which it did occasionally) the cleaning would be done, but if the die cracked/was damaged in this area. It continued to spread to the nearest stronger area the devices and usually stopped there. On the Memorial Cents the location seems to shift to the I & B area. They are harder to find in this area, but still can be found.

That's interesting...I haven't seen chips in LIBERTY outside of 52-57 Lincolns.

I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but your images are very nice...coming from a lot of experience with shooting Lincolns, they aren't the easiest coins to accurately represent in images, and you've hit it.

Thanks Chuck! I'm using a Canon S5 IS with the 500 D Close up lens, and a home built copystand. For lighting I'm just using two lamps with 5 dollar daylight bulbs from home depot.

Im using the Image gallery on the site. I think you have to have a certain number of posts to be granted access to it. It lets you use pictures that are larger, 1MB or smaller I believe. These pictures are sized down a bit.

Do you think this is worth keeping? I think my dealer will buy it for a couple bucks.

If you can get a couple of bucks out of it from a dealer, do it. These generally don't bring much if any premium value.

Probably by the end of this coming week. For right now I am just trying to stay afloat with the new job, unpacking, the cent project, trying to get settled in, etc.
