That's the heading for this lot closing on ebay today. I have never seen the coin in the flesh and am curious about what looks like the bubbled appearance of the coin surface, wondering if it is a repro or not.

Perhaps the appearance is from the plastic on the flip.

Lettering details don't appear very crisp either.

Opinions?

Agreed. My eyes are not good enough to pick out whether there are honest tick marks on the surface, unevenness in the 2x2 plastic, or something nefarious.

Apparently it's a good coin as it attracted 38 bids and sold for $227.99
