Does this coin look to be a 1922 no D? If so what Die pair? The collection I inherited had this coin tucked away, with a old hand written paper note, that read, "1922 plain? no D? confer with Rodger". (I don't know Rodger.)

It looks die pair 2 with strong reverse. Not so sure of the authenticity for such a worn coin.

yes coin is quite worn. the best way to see the details of the coin was if I turned it on an angle under a light. It then becomes almost reflective in a way. Not sure if that would be a normal thing

As far as authenticity. The one thing I am absolutely certain of is this coin has been in my families homes, unseen and untouched for at least 40 years. So if there was any forgery it would of have been made prior to that. not sure if that is what you mean by authenticity?

yes when I tried to use the image optimizer the required crop size would have then resulted in only showing a small portion of coin. i will find a way. worst case maybe I can just email someone the large images

This coin is so worn, it is hard to tell what it is.
From the pictures, I am not even seeing the date ...1922?
I do see the possible die crack on the reverse, like a die pair #1 has.
