Lexington-Concorde Boxes... Real Or Replica

So there are currently Lexington-Concorde Half Dollars available with the original wooden boxes. I think they provide a good contrast. I think one is fake, one is legit (the box, mind you... I think both coins are legit). But I offer them here for discussion.

The ink of the stamp should be blue, not black. The date should be imprinted into the box, not stamped on top (they both pass this test). Normally, the original pine (not balsa) box had a PVC-like effect on the coin. The seller of the BU coin claims the coin was preserved via plastic wrap.

I would want to personally inspect both boxes before purchasing either, but if I had to pick the one I was most comfortable with.it would be the one offered by M. Barr Antiques.

Regarding the "fresh and original" untoned example offered by the other seller, I would bet a nickel it was dipped at some point in its past.
