Take one normal Zincoln, place it between two pieces of leather, hammer until the diameter increases and all of the copper plating falls off. The result is the PMD oddity known as a "Texas Penny".

They way to tell what it is? The width is increase and the plating falls off the coin because of the stretch. PSD

Or they are trying to create an error? A lot of good coins are ruined when they are doctored even the slightest.
