So I'm looking to buy this. Guy claims MS65, which I'm doubting. But I'm pretty sure he's overlooking at least an extra piece of hair at the very tail end above trust. Is that a more, less, or equal reason to buy this particular coin at $50?

Not MS65. Can't tell about the extra hair by these pics.

Interesting. Can you post a good close up of this anomaly?

And yes, certainly not MS65 but he's not asking anywhere near 65 money.

Here is the PCGS photo grade:

But the spot between the 1 & 9 is a real distraction as well as what John1 mentioned.

So all I have is the picture the owner took to go off of unfortunately. I did a side by side of a "regular" dollar on the left and the one for sale on the right. The hair in question is the flowing hair spanning to the far left of the coin. The top piece looking like a hand drawn flame of sorts is my best explanation. There seems to be a piece under the original hair. I hope that makes sense.

I agree about the mark between the 1 and 9 coop it's certainly an eye sore. I looked for the error in question and found some extra hair die breaks and a couple others. Couldn't find anything on this one though.

This coin is actually being sold on a local LetGo app so I feel he had no clue about MS..anything lol but maybe is also missing a key error. Same guy has a "silver" 1943 PENNY for $5000! Not that I know nearly as much as you guys, but calling it a penny has started to drive me crazy and shows the sign that they have no idea what they're selling. Dead giveaway there.
