I tried to add a little more silver to my boxes this week.

I think I got some good additions, but it was a slow week.

Thanks ... I am happy with how it is coming along.

Not sure how much longer I can go with out doing a count.
I think it is about half full. Off the top of my head,
I can count a easy 60oz of silver, would not be surprised
if there was 75oz.

For me, the treasure box ... is really a lot of fun picking
out coins to put into it.

Nice pick ups. The treasure chest still needs some sort of jewels in it. Something like this.

I had a guy bring me 42oz of sterling silverware. He picked it out of the trash on the side of the road. He took it to the local pawn shop and the guy offered him $30. That's not a typo $30 is what he was offered. He asked me for $300, I could grab my wallet fast enough.

That's what I like about CCF ... you get all these great ideas. I think I know where I might be able pick up some
jewels like that.

I wish I was lucky like that .. to find 42oz ....

$300 ... sounds like a very good deal.

I think in this area the best I could sell silver flatware
would be 60% of melt. But I never tried to find a better
price .. I have just observed it being traded.
