I have already identified this coin as a VAM 7 with a slanted date. I just couldn't help but post these pics. There are die file marks all over the head in the recessed areas, but I just had to laugh when I saw her nose hair.

I was curious about the e in we however. it is only half as strong as the other letters in "In God We Trust". Is this a partially filled die?

Nose hair.

Nose hair at 200X.

e in We, if you look at the light on the bottom of the letters you can see the difference in strength of strike. It is much more noticeable in person.

That was my laugh for the evening.

You ought to post the "nose hair" detail at VAMworld, or email the details to Rob Joyce or Jack Lee so they can. I think you're right about the "e" being a partial die fill.
