This is a FS-801. I bought it recently at my LCS. I just wanted to share it with ya'll. My picture doesn't really do it justice, but here it is.

Thanks Eric19, I like it too. I suppose you're also keeping an eye out for the 1985. I do a lot of business at my LCS and have become pretty good friends with the man that owns it. He discounted it for me under $200.

That's an excellant price you got if for. I think you meant 1984 because that year has the doubled ear variety, but I don't think 1985 has any major error.

Thanks Slamnnass it's Unc Details and a note of altered color. It looks to me like it's turning brown a little. Eric there is an awesome Doubled Die for 1985.

Eric he had a very nice 84 ear penny, very vivid. I could only get these two at the time.

I'm glad ya'll like it. It's the strongest Doubled Die Reverse in the Lincoln series, easy to see with 20/20 vision. Because it's so visible it's not likely to be found in circulation, but it's not impossible.

Seems odd it got a details grade doesn't it? I see plating issues on rev and obv with mabi a stain but 'altered color' ?

Yes it is uncirculated details. Looks to me like a partial print on the obverse and turning brown.

Yep, I understand Slamnbass. If you ever get a chance you should see one in hand. Pictures lack something I can't quite describe.
