Fun with numbers! LOL! However the seller's "no return" policy may discourage a sale. So RCM released/shipped the Gold Star Trek prior to the date of September 6th?

I believe what @silveroid is trying to say is that the Gold Star Trek coin is just a little over the half ounce mark,

Just noticed that The Coin Shoppe has Delta Gold Coin in stock again. http://www.thecoinshoppe.ca/star-tr...ld-coin-rcm/1pc available for CAD$1700 The Coin Shoppe raised price of Delta Gold Coin from CAD$1500 ( soldout ) to CAD$1600 ( soldout ) to CAD$1700 now. Good sign for collectors who bought at issue price ( CAD$1300 )

Quote:Most flippers already ordered from RCM or other dealers ( those offered RCM 's issue price or little premium ) Those buyers bought on ebay with CAD$1750+, should be collectors not flippers. Because no more profit for flippers to resell if buy from ebay. 100% Agree. Those who are paying $1800 to $2000 are clearly collectors since there is no way they are going to recoup their money if they re-sell unless the issue price double. Only flippers who bought at issue price are going to make money since the breakeven point for those people is $1500. In other words, you have to sell above $1500 for the average non-dealer, non-store ebay seller to make any money.

Quote: SGB USA has 6 pcs Delta Gold Coin at this moment
USD$1150 ( cash price ) Thank you very much, Justsilver, for sharing! This is nice find. Some people could enjoy not too overpriced coin, some will make some buck for other numismatic issues of our Mint. Today will be nice day:Close to 5PM EST probably Talisman the first will publish PM Delta Coin. And let's see more offerings from dealers for both Delta coins! Do you think, better contact The Coin Shoppe in advance to secure some amazing (or not) Silver Star Trek Delta coin ? Added more: I still not a fan of Gold Delta (too small and unnecessary expensive), and agree with the people that CAD 2000 will be max for it, but still think - if you see it close to issue price - buy no doubts

@Silveroid You are welcome. Sharing info on coins is part of CCF member's duty. I am just doing my job. lol. The Coin Shoppe will carry Delta Silver Coin from Perth Mint. Ordering from Canadian dealer will save a lot of hassle on importing ( international shipping fee + Customs Brokerage + Possible tax )

So here is what the silver Star Trek delta coin looks like: Now compare it to the gold Star Trek delta coin: They obviously compliment each other quite nicely since they are both delta shaped coins. However, I think the reverse design of the gold delta coin and its overall presentation (wood box and all) sets it miles apart from the silver delta. The 50th anniversary logo isn't blatantly right in your face on the gold delta, whereas it is on the silver, which imo detracts from its realism. Anyways, I'm not bashing the coin, in fact I will be getting one for my collection, however, I just think that it pales in comparison to the gold.

Interesting. The silver is a fair bit larger at 60.5 x 39mm, the gold 28.68 x 17.50mm.
