very nice find for people who haven't got at least one.

From the dimensions I see:

Weight: 16.20g
Diameter: 28.68mm(H) x 17.50mm(W)

The coin slightly small (1,7 cm width only)
1/2oz of gold weights bit more than 1/2oz of silver (16.20 gr vs 15.7 gr)

The Coin Shoppe offers 3% discount code on numismatic coins to RFD members long time ago.

Still working today.

So Selling price on Delta Gold Coin is CAD$1600 - 3% discount CAD$48 = CAD$1,552

No tax, free shipping.

Code is rfdcredit

p.s. hope there will be 3% ccf discount code soon. lol.

RCM's Delta Gold Coin release date is a little bit strange compared to other RCM's coins.

RCM's website released this coin on May 6th to MC Prestige, May 13th to general public.

But RCM's Mint Boutiques can not sell this coin yet. Sep 6th is the release date on Delta Gold Coin for RCM's Mint Boutiques.

Strange, isn't it?

I agree, it is strange, especially from a marketing perspective.

Suddenly it was offered for presale in May. But had RCM chose to capitalize on the 4+ months lead time, they could've only advertised "upcoming in September", then taken advantage of MC members intentionally buying other product in order to up their MC level, in anticipation of the opportunity to buy the Gold Delta upon its release in September.

Subject to the MC Program Terms and Conditions, upon reaching one of the 3 tiers, the Masters Club Member will qualify for all benefits associated with that tier that are offered for the remainder of the Program Year in which he or she reached the tier and for the duration of the following Program Year.

When I open The Coin Shoppe page with the coin, I see banner "Extra 3% off"
so it seems be additional 3% discount together with "rfdcredit"

Thanks, justsilver and silveroid.

The regular 3% works for me now. For some reason I couldn't do it earlier. Maybe it was just my brain that was not working yet. lol

I think the only gamble on this gold delta coin is "will the value go up a little or a lot?"

@justsilver

I already bought from RCM and SGB, but I like to check the current prices at other dealers to see how much money I've saved... lol

No, I'm not buying from the Coin Shoppe. Price is too high for me.

No, a troy ounce is 31.1 grams.

1/2 ounce is 15.55 grams.

It matters little what the substance is gold or silver,
a pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of lead.
An ounce of gold and an ounce of silver weigh the same,
but have different specific gravity, different size/volume.

This is only true if you are trying to flip the Delta.
If you collect coins, then there is no gamble.

Thank you , SilverDon for exact numbers

I used improper comparison of 1/2oz gold and 1/2oz silver, cause, according to the specification of the coin it has bit more gold, than 1/2oz

Here is one for the sale on ebay:
Item ID = 162188373305

asking price is CAD 1951 with Best Offer

but it has neat detail:
the COA is 0166 / 1500

so:
if you do not like number '13' - better stay away (0+1+6+6 = 13)

but from other hand 166 is known as AFF and it stands for Adult Fun Fiction (which is basically Star Trek relates to)
