Here is one of the American classics, a 1796 dime. This is the most common of the six 1796 dime die varieties. It has the virtually diagnostic Die Cud to the left of the date. All but one known example of this variety have it. It is believed that was the first die variety for the United States dime. As such it is a piece of history. So what do you think she grades? PCGS has already put their grade on it.

AU53. neat adjustment marks on the reverse. that was such a cool time in u.s. coinage. lots of interesting stories behind them

I agree with the XF45 crowd but could easily see this coin market-grading AU. Pretty dime.
