I collect US and inherited a lot of foreign coins from my grandfather who was from Russia.

I also collected stamps for awhile. Have some sheets.

Right now I am working on the foreign coins.

I went to the Chicago International Coin Fair a month ago and, as I am primarily a U.S. coin collector, I was blown away! So many countries and series and types and Russia has such a rich history I bet you got some coins that have seen some crazy stuff in there time.

Thanks to everyone who welcomed me.

To your question jyelton about the Russian coins, I am sure if there were a machine that could pick up the vibrations attached to the coin and decipher the vibrations back into stories, it would definitely be WILD!

My grandfather did mention some stories.
