I could of got this one for less, missed the chance, then it relisted on the bay as a regular 1929, but I have to bid against 2 other bidders who saw it also. I think it grades Fine 12 - Fine 15? I am amateur to this series, perhaps paid a bit too much.

What's a "market acceptable" cleaning?

VF details and if you paid F money I would imagine most would say you did great

Nice overdate Mac

It's an old cleaning from a long time ago, and the coin has mostly recovered from it (re-toning naturally)

Nice coin, VF-25 ish

Old cleaning and or rubbing, but I don't see harsh scratches, I notice similar ones with this particular over date on the bay going over $100 easily with no buyer. I wouldn't pay for those prices unless is at least VF and above.

Numismedia prices are hard to figure with certain series, how does it configure rarities pricing vs demands pricing, is there quantity record out there for 1829/7?
