Just wanted to share , got from ebay those 20 rolls of wheats , sealed bank bag, was a lot of fun for sure and what I found was pretty close to the seller's description .
I didn't have time yet in check all the coins for errors and varieties ,if I find something rare I will post here ,for now the only error was a 1957 filled "b" .

Sounds like a nice haul!

When you see the distribution, it makes you realize how scarce the D and S mints are from the teens and twenties. Except for those 19-S's, almost all P mints.

Well, for one, that is not a "sealed Bank Bag", it is a common evidence bag such as the police use at crime scenes. (I have handled thousands of them...) You seal them with a heat-sealer.

I like the seeded Steel penny in the one roll.

This would be a decent purchase at $25 or so plus shipping.

Well, the coins came inside of a sealed bank bag (Fort Knox bank) and it wasn't closed using a heat-sealer machine( I have it at work)
It's the same envelope that I use to send deposits from work to bank , fraudstopper system closing .
I paid much more then $25 lol , you know they won't
sell rolls with only wheats cents for face value , wish they would

Those aren't from the "Fort Knox Bank". They are a commercial product sold online and elsewhere as "Fort Knox Deposit Bags" intended for police evidence. They are said to be "as secure as Fort Knox". They come in both heat-seal and adhesive seal versions.

If you paid more than $25 for 1000 common wheat cents you paid too much.

It may well have been worth it for the fun you had going through them, I too have bought bags of wheat pennies for more than I should have but still had fun going through them. I found a few that bettered my collection and the rest were sorted by date and mint mark and stored for my archive.

I've been there as well (paying too much for LWC). You're talking to a guy who paid $80 for 1000 LWCs (got maybe a little less than a roll of AU but still). Yikes! I did get one good unsearched lot once..it was $50 for $10 FV and I came out of it with about 15 1909s (3 VDB) as well as several harder to find teen and 20s (13-s for example). I gave up buying cents in lots though. 90% of the time you're going to lose money. I think if you want to fill any of the tough dates you pretty much have to bite the bullet and pay for them individually. For that reason I'll never have a complete set.. I don't think I have a single semi key date. Regardless hope you had fun searching and are able to fill some holes in your album!

Then it was worth every penny!

That is the whole idea of the hobby, to have fun. If it isn't fun and you still do it then it is work and work is never as much fun!
