I know this is a longshot, but my uncle's house was robbed in early June 2011 and almost his entire collection was taken. Old US coins, some old currency. They caught the guy not long afterwards but the coins were gone. Not sure if any of the pawn stores in that area of Maryland received anything and whatever they had may have long since been resold by now. But just figured I'd put it out there. I'd gotten to purchase portions of it as he was starting to sell it off but there was over $20k worth of coins stolen. There may be some proof sets or coin sets from the Schuylkill Valley Coin Club from the 1960s in the mix.

Terrible to hear. I hope you have some success recovering the remaining parts, although time seems to be against you.

@daylight75, that is horrible. In the intervening five years, I'm sure that his collection has been pretty widely dispersed. Do you have a list of exactly what was taken or even pics? I do note that there are two different Schuylkill Valley Coin Club sets for sale on ebay right now. Both seem to be from pretty well established sellers with loads of good feedback, so they seem to be unlikely candidates.

Yeah, 2011 was a long time ago... plenty of time for the coins to be scattered to the four winds, unfortunately. Good luck, regardless.
