Yall, I have decided to start a Buffalo nickel collection, catch is... all coins have to have full mint luster! It will be a long and very expensive process, wish me luck!! I will post pictures of the progress...I will for sure be starting with common dates!!
Rest in Peace

, To CCF .
You said full mint luster ,but how about minimum grade, or with or without full horn .
Are you going for just dates and mints , or errors and varieties included ?

I am trying to stay as close to MS/BU as possible for the entire set. I have not decided on the errors and varieties yet, I would like to see how getting the base set goes first. I did pick up 2 38-D varieties the other day though, could not pass them up. Pics coming in just a minute.
Rest in Peace

Chris , nice ,however the 1938-D Buffalo is about the cheapest mint state
Buff in the series because they were hoarded as soon as they went into circulation.
