This was sold to me (as part of a set) as a 14th century Khwarimshah coin. I cannot find anything like it by that designation online. Can anyone help identify it for me?

3.15 grams, approx 15 mm, copper.

Seems similar to:

Since we're dealing with some off-centered strikes, here's a side-by-side comparison to the Ala al-din Muhammad jital (also 15mm, btw) I linked to:

Thank you so much. I went on the Vcoins site to reproduce your search, and still can't figure out how you found it.

Started at Bing.com, rather than VCoins...more likely to bring up old (sold) coins like this.

@Bob, at the risk of hijacking this post, I wonder if you might start a new thread where you describe your image searching and matching. About once a week you completely nail one of these and I have no idea how you do it. I was beginning to think you had an eidetic memory or something...

Thanks, Dave, that's nice of you to say, but I don't think I'd have much to offer. Perhaps the thing that sometimes works to my advantage is that I am a visual thinker (I'm an artist) who works with a lot of visual complexity/detail in his work...I guess that whatever it is that compels me to get obsessive in my own imagery is what creates the enjoyment for searching for specific motifs/devices when looking for attributions.
