Hi...Mike here from Toronto Canada. Slowly working on digging up a full collection of Canadian coinage from 1858 to 1968...Just starting to learn the grading process and have sent 2 coins in for grading at ICCS in Toronto. All my coins have been found with a metal detector...I wish I could go back a few years knowing what I do now. I would have never rubbed a silver coin..lol. Just curious, is ICCS as respected as NGC or PCGS in Canada? I know its one of the top Canadian ones, though.

I am pretty new at hobby of collecting coins so I am not the best person to answer that...It was best option for me as I could hand deliver the 2 coins I got graded, pick them up 14 days later...33 dollars Canadian $. Painless process..

Yes I was lucky to get the 8/5 variety...didn't realize it at first until a friend pointed it out...luckily I didn't clean it in the field because I could faintly see Victoria on it...
