I need some assistance with the ID for this coin or token?

I cannot say anything else about it other that it came within a bag of some other very old ancient coins, some of which I have made inquiries on lately with CCF.

Not sure if it's a coin, just a guess but maybe it's a coin weight.

The shape and fabric kind of remind me of some of the cruder medieval AR pfennigs of Austria and Germany, but...

The exact weight of this thing is 17.9 g. So allowing for wear 18 g would be a nice round figure.

Could it actually be a Swastika seal found in the Indus Valley: referred to as a 'hakenkreutz' at that ancient time by the inhabitants of that civilization:

B/t/w 3,200 BCE is synonymous to 3200 BC referred to in the aforementioned URL. I just learned that today.

But, how would one confirm this and would it be worth the time/money to dedicate resources for investigations...?

That seems awfully heavy for a uniface pfennig. Can you supply us with the approximate dimensions?

Do we have any more opinions now that the dimensions are there?

My initial impression is that it's a seal of some type.
