I am putting together a currency set. I understand PCGS is the gold standard for coins but what about for currency? These are not American notes. Foreign notes tend to be more of a PMG thing. Can I use graded notes from both companies in a set? I know NGC allows PCGS coins but not vice versa.

Also I noticed PCGS does not have a pop report for foreign notes yet.

Has anyone done a currency set? How did it go? Any tips?

I haven't done this, but I believe you want to use the same TPG service for the entire set, to ensure grades are as uniformly applied.

Just between us, I think graded world notes are going to see demand and appreciation similar to graded US notes.

Here is hoping paxbrit. My peers really see paper money as the only money (just turned 22).
The set I am working on is ridicules. One lad has 2 MS66 notes (that is it) and he has the gold award from PMG for best registry set. It shouldn't be hard to dethrone him.

The concept of giving awards to everyone has gone far beyond the grade schools !
