I recently went through some Silver Certificates my grandfather left me after he passed and noticed I had 3 1935G $1, two of which were consecutive serial numbers.

The rest of the $1 were as follows:

1957 - Thirteen NO star

1957A - One Star and twelve NO star

1957B - Two Star and twenty-three NO star

I have no clue about currency or coins and I was wanting help with the value/rarity of the bills, I have included pictures of the two consecutive 1935G ones. They do not have the Motto "In God we Trust" on the reverse. Thanks for any help!

to CCF. They do have collector value above face value. Having consecutive numbers may add a little. Star notes also add value. On the 35G,is the reverse off center also?

Can you post a picture of the backs of the 1935G notes too? Do they have the motto " In Cod We Trust" on them?

Welcome to the forum Shane.

The series 1935G (no motto) $1 SC's are cool, but the 1935G (w/motto) is valued more. Mostly, I'm guessing, because there were considerably less of them printed. We tend to see a lot of consecutive $1 SC's and there is not much of an additional premium placed on them because of this. Yours seem to have the dreaded "thin right margin" syndrome we see from time to time.
