Don't see many 1947ML dollars posted here. Have you had a coin that seems impossible to photograph? For me, this is it. How do you take a photo of a mirror? I took this out of the 2x2 for the first time since 1971-72, so I'm posting many pics. Grandpa Smutny gave me this coin when I was 12 years old. It was good to liberate it after all these years, while attempting to photo. Grade away!

Nice coin.

I'm thinking ICCS would grade it somewhere between au58 and ms62.

Nice coin. The marks I see appear to more than just contact marks, cheek and chin marks seem more like friction marks. So my guess is AU 55-58.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with MS62, just because this is you vs me. I know that a single individual in Canada sent coins to my grandfather at the Chicago Tribune in 1948 and 1949, and the rest of the George VI stuff was UNC. Of course that doesn't matter for an individual coin, but it factors in my thinking.
