It does look like a rim Cud. But Cuds are really not my specialty. The pic is fine. You could try to email JC Stevens and see what he says about it.

It looks like a rim Cud to me. Note how it is raised higher than the rim. So part of the collar has broken off in that area. I would probably save it for images you might need in the future. Probably no much of a premium for this, but I save stuff in tubes for a quick find when I need something from time to time for images.

There is only 1 rim Cud listed for 1985 so yours would be a new one if you wanted to contact JC. That is a tough one to pick up on - I probably wouldn't have caught it. like 11997755 said "good eye" John.
