I concur with what gxseries said, I dealt with printing and die making of this sort takes no longer than a week or two.
I rather think getting the chemically treated stock takes longer, but with all the new coins design that came out since then, this can add a extra page and possibly add more holes to other page. A regular edition and a deluxe edition with gold page with a few holes for gold commemorative.

We got out hopes up, but I do not think they are coming any time soon.

I heard a few weeks ago that the owner(s) (I think they were described as 2 brothers) had financial/legal issues involving taxes and have finally climbed out of the hole. I don't know if 7070 is #1 on their production list, but from what I was told they will start producing albums again. All of this might be made up, but figured it was worth spreading the story I was told.

Not for me. I have my 7070. Too soon? Seriously, I hope the new one comes out eventually because future collectors will need them. It is always nice having a member, new or old, announcing that they have decided to take on the task.

I called the Dansco Store. The young lady I spoke with wasn't familiar with the story. She gave me the number for the Dansco factory, but they are closed today (Friday). I will call Monday and see what I can find out.

Very interesting! Possibly a lower grade, completed 7070 for me in my older album and a higher grade in the newer album? The possibilities! :D Can't wait to hear something hopefully positive!

Quote: I called the Dansco Store. The Dansco Album Store? That site is not owned or run by Dansco. Says right there on the bottom of their page, "DanscoAlbumStore.com is not owned and/or operated by any product brands or manufacturers listed throughout this website."Only contact information I have: Dansco Corporation (323) 734-6373 4313 W Jefferson Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90016

Yet us know how the call goes.
I am very curious about what they have to say.

macmercury, I have been following the possibility of Dansco or whoever in this thread and other threads to produce a 7070 album. People have makes phone calls, talk to their lcs's, and write through these forums for years. Nobody has came out with any confirmed time or date for this to happen. I just don't see any supported information that the album will be published again. Just my opinion. But for the sake of collectors, I do hope the Dansco 7070 will be reproduced.
