Looks like they no longer do the free shipping on the 5 pack for $5. Shipping is now $2.95 plus tax. Still ordered my pack though.

My guy can get a roll from the bank for me but his source is a secret and he wants a huge mark up, the joys of rural NB. If they want $2.99 shipping they can forget it! It is, what, 7 cents worth of scrap metal that we never plan to spend.

I ordered a set, even though the loon looks like a chicken. Hopefully they will be better looking in-hand.
$2.99 shipping + GST.

I had tried adding the Women's Right to Vote pack for the free shipping however it's limited to 1 per household and I already ordered one when they first came out.

I wish I would have waited an extra day to order my Women's Right to Vote pack, could have taken advantage of bundling them together for that free shipping.

It appears (from the wording on the RCM website) that the loonie will only be available in the 5 coin package and the special wrapped rolls. Does that mean that the banks will not be receiving regular wrapped rolls?

Banks will receive the loonies, but they're not rolled at the mint. RCM decorative and embossed twice-the-price roll would be rolled right at the source of production and once it's opened it can't ever be rewrapped. That might be important to roll collectors. I suppose it also could be said that the coins in a RCM Mint roll are likely of an overall higher quality because they've not encurred any distribution wear or damage. Me personally, while I do collect 50c rolls but a RCM wrapped roll every time a special release of a circulated denomination is issued...nah. I can see where this would be headed LOL!

There are beautiful coins! But they are shipped within Canada only. Is there any way to get them shipped to the US? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@ jackieatca It appears this new release popped up on RCMs site wth any advance notice and major Canadians dealers are likely still putting in their orders because I don't notice any advertised yet. But they all ship to the US so keep your eye on the websites of, for example, Colonial Acres, Cdn Coins and Currency, Westgate Coins or J&M Coins and you should be able to find what you're looking for. ebay is another option. Glad you like our loonies!
