There are many popular themes in American coinage. Depictions of liberty and presidents are examples. I love the various depictions of eagles on American coins. Show us your favorite. I will start...here is one of my favorite designs. 1936 Bridgeport Comm. featuring a beautiful, simplified, art deco eagle on the reverse. This beauty was just picked up in Long Beach.
