Some media and newspaper gave false info that 1970 quarters all have rare errors. People not into numismatics are hunting down these coins thinking they're worth thousands. And they're selling them on ebay. If it actually was, though, I'd be a millionaire.

How can someone with 0 feedback post a bin for $20k? I thought they started you at $5k and every month you can call in to raise it another $5k if all is good?

I guess that's something ebay is doing... showing something related to the previous title. If you use a bare banes item number link it works as expected.

Just did a Bay search for 1970 Washington quarter

There were 27 different 1970 regular quarters auctions for
over $1000.

Plus the one on the Canadian quarter

People are crazy
