I'll say 61, possibly 62 at best.

MS63, too much chatter in fields and cheek is a bit rough. Fully struck, which is delightful to see on the date/MM.

It is a far date coin and the MM is centered and upright.
If that's the top of an 8 sticking in between the denticles below the first 8, it's a VAM 17.
If not, it might be a 13, or an 18 (if the ear is doubled to the inside)

Adam! AWESOME! Its a VAM 17. I have a jewelers loop and that's clearly a digit in the denticl as well as the die scratches in the eye and die file line in (L)IBERTY!

Any premium? Worth slabbing with attribution?

I'm super excited to own this coin. Thanks for all of the help on this one!

VAM 17 is R5 VAM, but not much premium as it is not a H40/T100, SCD or WOW! VAM. It would have a small premium to VAM collectors working on an 1885-O VAM set, or as a representative of a MPD error on a Morgan dollar. Just my opinion; I'm sure Dave or Twodsonegf or Cascade will be along at some point to share their opinions.

if its not worth too much of a premium but is very cool to own for a rarely seen date-in-denticle MD, than I am still stoked. I paid $52 for it. I do not consider it a bad buy. Thanks again for the assistance.
