I wanted to see if I could steal some knowledge and find out what happened to this Coin. I work at an iron foundry, pouring Iron all day. It looks like porosity, or slag, its all in clusters. I know thats not what this is. Thats not even close to how there made. Thats an example of what I think it looks like up close.

Deffinitly one ugly fight with something lol. What Really had me scratching my head was the clusters in between the the feet and flowers.and then I seen on the obverse side that really smooth scoop out of the nose. Id love to see how things like this happen.

PSD post strike damage. Damage done after the minting process. It's spent some time on the road being run over, very recently.

Or was in a parking lot and got ran over a few times. The rim is where it was dropped hard. (like a slam dunk into the payment) The incuse marks on the coin are usually damage to the coin.

Ok I can see it now. I would have never thought. Of something like that because ofthe coin seeming to be in good shape other then those spots. I love the slam dunk refrence too Thanks for the info guys.
