There is a slightly triple-punched date on the "With Cents" version, but it's not listed with Fivaz-Stanton (to my knowledge). There is FS# 5c-12.7 with repunched date on the "No Cents" - lower left serif of the 1 extends outward from the lower left side of the first 8.

Could be a new one, I know there are a lot of these 1883 (no cents) with RPD from what I read. Thanks for your help............Dan

There is no place to send it or attribute it. That I can find. Guess I'm up that old creek as far as this coin is concerned. Well that's alright too, hey maybe it's one of a kind, that would be far reaching oh well I'll just keep it and wonder if anyone has one like it. Thanks for your interest.................dinkyblue

I was noticing on a Shield nickel site, the mention of FS numbers for these. But I don't have the volume with them in it. You might try there is anyone else has a copy? 19,974Edited by coop
