I don't think so. Fonts seem fat on reverse.

I thought the CC looked fat at first glance. Other than that it looks ok to me.

Thanks all. It seems I am stuck in the 90's today. The first C seems wider than the other to me. The area of the MM is a little discolored. The coin was only double digits in price, so I thought I could sell it and not get hurt. A local dealer I trust said it was authentic. The coin on VAM 5 wide CC seems to be similar, though this coin is not a 5.

Certainly looks authentic - the CC will get a bit fatter due to wear and will often wear unevenly. I would say F-12 for grade.

Looks genuine to me. I'd grade her at about F-12 or so. There's a very old cleaning, but this would likely masquerade as a problem-free piece.

I would challenge anyone to find a modern counterfeit Morgan with this kind of wear pattern, surfaces, or patina.

Looks good to me!

The Chinese haven't yet perfected the wear and color on circulated silver coins like this. They'll eventually get there though and that day will be scary!
