That's not a lower case I, that appears to be a gas bubble is created from zinc rot. The cent is probably from 1982 or later

Yes sorry ive been roll hunting all night and eyes are blurry and drafting more post. But yes its a 1992 LMC I just thought it looked cool, didnt know if it xould be a error. I found a 1955 "BIE" coin I'm about to post and mixed the names. 2

But I dont know what a gas bubble looks like so ill go look it up, but in person and under x20 lens it looks just like a small ball of metal poking up.

See the dark spot in the center of the dot? That is where the plating was pierced. Then air got to the zinc and made it raise. On a bas bubble on a coin, there is not hole through the plating.
