Fake/Counterfeit 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent - Nursekam03

nss-52 Moderator United States 54280 Posts	Posted 07/10/2016 06:56 am nursekam03 (0) 122040866821 Seller has a story to go with this counterfeit - This penny was one of the coins left to me by a long term patient when he passed. It had some residue on it that I cleaned off with plain water as instructed on a website but it whatever was on it must have been there for a long time and it left some marks. It's a 1909 S VDB Wheat penny. I tried to get close ups on the S and VDB but my camera wouldn't focus. I took it to a local coin dealer but he offered me a lower price saying he'd have to be able to make some money off of it. I'm listing it for a fair price based on what I've seen on ebay. If you have any advice of a better way to sell it, message me. inherited from a patient, cleaned, camera won't focus, coin dealer offered to by fake, and then they end with an invitation to buy it OFF ebay. OBVIOUS FAKE even with the out of focus photos. The history shows the listing was ended because the "Seller accepted a best offer." So....the Seller made money, ebay made money and the Buyer got burned and doesn't even know it yet! What a system!
