checked this 1964 canadian nickel on the beaver side die crack on 19 another die crack on the beaver tail. die chip on the beaver belly. front paw disconnected. there is a blacking on the beavers back and tail plus on the beaver house die crack on the maple leaf next to the beavers head. know on the queens side the bust is doubled and tripled gratia and regina is tripled. there is beads between some of the denticles. lots of metal flow and ghostling around the queen. I am photographing through glass filters. so that is very hard to see.but its there
Nice die cracks for a 1964. On the obverse, I see Machine Doubling in the G in GRATIA Especially. Possibly a greased filled die around the Queens nose but more likely Die Deterioration Doubling. Nice die crack from R to E in REGINA. That was an over-used die.
