Well we have had 2 nights of rodeo here and as I worked the contestant gate I notice jewery on both the men and women. Did not ask if they wore the jewery during competion, but if they do I can see them breaking chains and possible losss of rings during wild rides. Tomorrow morning I plan to hunt the areas in front of the food and beverage vendors areas hopeing for fresh coins. Then the arena just for kicks. Webekin
Rest in Peace

Finally got to the rodeo grounds. Hunted this morning and again this evening. Hot hot hot, 100. Total finds, 5 clad quarters, 2 dimes, 2 nickels, and 8 penneys. irst quarter was above ground. I will be back, searched the arena, but it was rock hard, and chunky. Will be better hunting ater the falls rains. Webekin

Returned to the east end of the rodeo grounds today hunted for 2 1/2 hours. Found 3 clad quarters, 2 dimes, and 3 pennys. And my first ring, it was a rush, removed 2 inches of crushed rock there it was yellow gold, with stuck on crud. After some cleaning,I have determined that it most likely is gold plated over copper. But it was still my first ring. Webekin

Returned to the area north of the permanent food shack and worked to the closest bleachers, then in front of them, and then towards the other food vendor trailer. Trying to cover the most direct route taken by the customers. Todays haul 3 quarters, 1 dime, and 4 pennys. So many pulltabs !!! Webekin

Sounds like your getting some good targets.

I hope your next ring will be solid gold ...
