The toning is dark, but I still see full luster. Those were the sellers pics. Here are a couple I took.   I'm not sure if there is wear on the face or if it is just part of the wood grain pattern?

Considering color only, is the OP's coin Brown (BN) or Red-Brown (RB)?
Does a penny need to be about 5% red or 15% red to be considered RB?

Better pictures! Looks like rub on all the obverse high points somewhat obscured by the toning. I can tell the field luster is weak, this is an AU-58 if I ever saw one. More than likely it was "worn" by it's journey from sock drawer to sock drawer. I bet when you try to cartwheel it the luster is broken in the fields but you can see it out towards the rim.
It's a beautiful coin as an AU!! Congrats!
