Some years ago, I bought an album full of Australian pennies, 1911-1964, with 2 extra marked "1943 rev of 1942, and a 1933/32". 79 pieces in all. There are many variables such as Grade (most appear to be Austraian fine or better), date Varieties (like the 1918 and 1919 varieties), etc. I'm getting confused. Time to sell these 79 coins but I'm having trouble determining a fair price to ask. Any suggestions. Thanks, Bill P.S. - Send me an email if you like and I'll send bigger pictures. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***Edited by BillSnyder 07/17/2016 6:26 pm

1. Grade all of your coins and get the full catalogue value of each; get a total value. 2. Take the set to a coin dealer and ask him for his offer for the set. Expect that the price offered will be dissapointingly too low. Decline his offer, no matter what it may be. 3. Go back home with the high and low values you now have, and take som time to decide for yourself how much you are going to sell them for on ebay.

but it's actually the best way to sell something nowadays. If you have the opportunity to get a second opinion with another coin dealer, then do so.

Am I the only one who wants to see this album? Which, by the photo posted, is probably a folder. No matter, sounds like it might be an impressive set to see in one shot.

If there is a 1930 in there, that would make a massive difference in the value of the set...

I would also like to see this set.
I agree with Jbuck, that it might be a Dansco folder.
I picked up a folder for these a year or so ago. But only have a few holes filled

Whatever you do, don't try to sell it here.

Quote: If there is a 1930 in there, that would make a massive difference in the value of the set... No kidding! It would be worth at least 20 times more than all of the other coins combined (assuming average grades).
