This is an 1832 Capped Bust half dollar, in about Fine condition. It does not appear to have been cleaned which is a good thing. Many old coins like this have been unfortunately cleaned by well-meaning owners which almost always hurts their value. So, don't clean it!
This coin might bring anywhere from $50 to $100 on ebay. A coin dealer would be happy to buy it but probably wouldn't pay more than about $40.
Very attractive example.
