I have just picked up a set of the colored 44 president quarters for just double face, which I thought was not a bad deal, just one setback they came in tubes and not in a album or special box. My question is there such a nice box or album available for this set. I have been unable to find one on the web

This, perhaps? https://www.amazon.com/U-S-Presiden...p/B005C44BQ8

Though, when in doubt, make your own! :P

President quarters? Sure it's not dollars? Also... 44 of them? I thought there only were 39 different ones... Which coin series are you talking about

The album nick points at is a known one, I even saw it here in Europe (although you may have to cut an extra hole for Reagan), and otherwise there's nothing wrong with making your own.

There are 44 2001 New York quarters with colored transfer portraits of all the presidents on the obverse. It appears that these were done professionally by some company. These are not Dollars

Hey, thanks, pennypincher1.

I think you'd have to make your own storage for this. I would suggest a blank Dansco with quarter pages, then figure out some kind of labeling. Or you could leave them in the 2x2s and do a binder with pages that have pockets for 2x2s. All of this is available on the Wizard site.

Oh wow, Pennypincher. Those are really pretty coins. Where did you pick these up at? I may have to obtain a set myself, haha.

Now that's an interesting set! Do you know who issued this? It's be interesting to know. Also, if there is any collectors album, the company who made these coins probably knows how to obtain one. Otherwise, you probably have to make your own.

I'm just wondering if these aren't 'fantasy tokens', as a president has to be deceased for at least 2 years before he can be taken into account for a commemorative series of coins (at least, that's one of the criteria used for the Presidential dollar).

Not sure if I want to add either of the next two presidential wannabees to the collection or where I would get one. Oh well for $21.00 Canadian they were good deal and they look good.

Probably not fantasy tokens, just regular quarters that some company has put a sticker, or printed a picture on them.

And that two year rule is specific to the President dollar series and was written into the authorizing legislation. There is no general law that forbids putting living people on our coinage. There is one for the currency, but not the coins. If Nancy had lived a few more months she could have seen herself on the first spouse coin because there was no restriction that the first spouse had to be dead.
