I ordered this last night. I paid a little under book value for it (PCGS price is $85). It's a PF67 with a mintage of slightly over 50,000. Where else can you get a major US coin thats over 60 years old, graded PF 67, with a population of under 1000 (between PCGS/NGC) for under $100? I must be the only person in the world who's favorite coin to collect is the Roosevelt dime since the prices are so low on these. I'm excited to add this one to the collection! Maybe one day I'll get a cameo but for now this one will do! Edited by LibertyEagle20 07/22/2016 2:55 pm

Very pretty! What's next on the list? I enjoy my dime collection but have to admit I don't do much with it. Pretty much just keeping up with the annual releases these days.

Congrats, LibertyEagle. It's a great looking piece! I have a couple of nice Roosevelt dimes in my collection, too, but they're recent ones and not nearly as old as the one you picked up. I hear what you're saying about prices. One of my focuses is Washington quarters with a preference for earlier silver coins (but I have a variety of dates in my collection). Like you, I seem to be in the minority, but at least we can pick up some really nice pieces at good/affordable prices.

Besides being a nice addition the your dime collection, this coin is a perfect example of a 'sleeper'. Unfortunately, hard to guess when it may 'wake up'. Nevertheless, a very viable long term investment. Worthwhile getting a few more examples if you can, for swap or trade purposes.

Wow ... Very nice coin ... Great eye appeal. I agree these coins are very under priced. I hope the series does not wake up .... Until I have mine

Stunning proof! Always love silver proofs!
Also, as a dime collector, do you have a 1996 W dime? It's a cool coin to have.
