Is this a lamination or a struck through issue? Or maybe both?

I think it's post strike damage. I see displaced metal from where it took a hit.

There's a little flap of metal on the you that might be a lamination error.

It is a lamination. Note the line is in a straight line all across the coin on the reverse.

Yes, Coop has taught us that most Lams have at least one fairly straight edge.

I know I'm probably the only one that believes this, but I feel the upset process that creates the rim on the coin turning a blank into a planchet, is what I feel is the cause of the laminations separating. (mainly on solid planchet coins) I've noticed on a lot of coin with a lamination they tend to start peeling after this event takes place.
